Main functions

• Heating control: Accurately adjust the heating temperature (such as 95℃ boiling or 85℃ warm water) and maintain the heat preservation state to avoid repeated heating.

• Refrigeration control: Control the operation of the compressor or semiconductor refrigeration chip to reduce the water temperature to the set low temperature (such as 5℃-10℃) to meet the demand for iced drinking water.

• Safety protection: It has functions such as anti-dry burning protection (automatically cuts off the power when the water level in the water tank is insufficient) and overheating protection (stops heating when the temperature is abnormal).

• Human-computer interaction: Mode selection (heating/cooling/heat preservation), temperature display, fault prompts, etc. are realized through panel buttons or touch screens.

Core composition

• Main control chip: coordinate the work of various components, receive user instructions and execute corresponding control logic (such as timed heating and energy-saving standby).

• Heating circuit: connect the heating tube, control the on and off through relays or thyristors, and achieve constant temperature control with temperature sensors.

• Refrigeration circuit: if it is compressor refrigeration, it includes compressor drive circuit; if it is semiconductor refrigeration, it includes TEC (thermoelectric cooler) drive module.

• Sensor circuit:

◦ Temperature sensor (such as NTC thermistor): real-time monitoring of water temperature and feedback to the main control chip.

◦ Water level sensor: detect the water level in the water tank to prevent dry burning.

• Power supply circuit: convert 220V AC into 5V, 12V and other DC power to power the chip and circuit module.

• Display and button circuit: corresponding panel indicator light, digital screen or touch screen to achieve operation feedback.

• Waterproof and moisture-proof design: due to the proximity to water sources, PCBA usually uses waterproof glue coating (three-proof paint) to prevent water vapor from corroding the circuit.

• Energy-saving optimization: support standby low power consumption mode, automatically enter the insulation/standby state after heating/cooling reaches the set temperature, reducing energy consumption.

• Safety redundancy: Multiple protection circuits (such as fuses, overcurrent protection) ensure power safety and prevent short circuits or overloads from causing failures.
