Function
• Provide stable driving current and appropriate voltage for LED lamps to ensure normal lighting of LED lamps, and can adjust the brightness of LEDs and protect power supplies.
Components
• Input rectifier and filter circuit: composed of diodes, capacitors, etc., converts input AC power into smooth DC power.
• Power factor correction circuit (PFC): usually uses dedicated PFC chips and related peripheral circuits to improve the power factor of the power supply and reduce harmonic pollution to the power grid.
• DC-DC conversion circuit: generally includes switching tubes, transformers, inductors, capacitors and other components, converting rectified and filtered DC power into DC voltage and current suitable for LED lamps.
• Control circuit: mainly composed of microcontrollers or dedicated driver chips, responsible for controlling the operating frequency and duty cycle of the switching tube to stabilize the output current and voltage, and realize dimming and other functions.
• Output constant current circuit: through the sampling resistor, operational amplifier and other components to form a feedback loop, accurately control the output current, and ensure that the LED lamp can obtain stable current under different working conditions.
• Protection circuit: including overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, overheating protection, etc. When an abnormal situation occurs, the protection circuit will act quickly to cut off the power supply or take other protective measures to prevent the LED lamp and the power supply itself from being damaged.
Working principle
• The input AC power is converted into DC power after rectification and filtering. The PFC circuit corrects the power factor to make the input current of the power supply closer to the sine wave and improve the efficiency of power utilization. Then, under the action of the control circuit, the DC-DC conversion circuit converts the DC power into a high-frequency pulse voltage through the high-frequency switching action of the switch tube. After transformer conversion and adjustment of the output constant current circuit, a stable DC current and voltage suitable for the operation of the LED lamp tube are obtained. The control circuit adjusts the working state of the switch tube in real time according to the set parameters and feedback signals to achieve stable driving and dimming control of the LED lamp tube. When abnormal situations such as overvoltage, overcurrent or overheating occur, the protection circuit will respond in time to protect the safety of the entire system.
Design features
